Most ranch dressing is soybean oil, buttermilk powder, and a long list of stabilizers. This is none of that.
Dill Ranch is built in two stages: first, a 50/50 avocado and olive oil mayo base made with pasteurized eggs and a triple-vinegar foundation — rice vinegar for brightness, Modena balsamic for the warm, rounded depth that customers notice but cannot quite name, apple cider vinegar with the mother for complexity. Then full-fat Greek yogurt is folded in gently, which gives this ranch its genuine creaminess without a tablespoon of seed oil.
Dried dill is the flavour anchor — the note that makes your palate say ranch before your brain does. Nutritional yeast replaces the umami that salt would normally provide. One teaspoon that makes the difference between a sauce that tastes complete and one that does not. Then it rests twenty-four hours minimum. The vinegars integrate, the herbs rehydrate, the flavours settle.
The result is the ranch you grew up with — richer, cleaner, and with nothing in it you cannot pronounce.
